yes thats what hes talking about. You dont really need it if your arent going to drill into the concrete and use concrete nails.
Make sure you clean the area really good, and put some liquid nails or epoxy, then put your trim down add some weight to the trim to hold it down the the epoxy/liquid nails dries. Should be dry enough overnight but at least 24hrs for most stuff.

Take the short piece off that runs along the skirtboard and rip it narrower so the front edge planes out with the shoe on the baseboard

    Yes XD there it is!

It's supposed to be secured to the floor, not glued to the strip hahaha.

Yes liquid nails dries fast. Ideally don't let anyone step on it for about an hour but within a few minutes it should be firmed up a bit.

Looks like they have a plywood under the hardwood. I'd scrap the old glue off at a minimum. You could also get some small flat head screws and screw that channel into the wood then you just lock the trim piece into the channel.

I have 2 DeLonghi oil space heaters like that. They work very well in the rooms I have them in. My daughters bedroom is 120 sq ft and mine is 160 plus a open door walk in closet. Keeps our bedrooms as warm as we want without using the oil burner to heat the whole upstairs.

X2. I had one in the kid's room when we were having HVAC issues, and we have a lower bedroom half set below grade that can be an icebox in winter. Works great in both. Each was approx the size of your two rooms.

X3... This heats a small bedroom in my 100 year old home and best of all is very safe.

Most of you probably know this tip, but for those that don't, I will share it. Last night I had a constant drip under the kitchen sink faucet, so grabbed another stainless steel hose to replace the old one. I closed the main water supply line, but couldn't stop the pipe from dripping and with the water dripping couldn't coat the threads properly with plumbers dope , so what I didn't was take a small piece of Italian bread (must be Italian) and stuff it down the pipe to stop the water flow, as I coated the threads with plumbers dope. It worked great and was able to stop the dripping, with the bread being easily flushed out, as I listen to the Patriots on the radio.

It wasn't a broken valve causing the leaking but a stainless steel hose. If you were talking about replacing the main supply line that would take hours and money, to taking a 1/100th of a cent piece of bread, then you are masochistic of the highest order.

I must be confused as to what you are talking about. You should have a water shut off at the sink, if you turn it off no water should be coming out (past what drains out).

Couldn't stop the water dripping from the pipe in my 100 year old house, so I used a 1/100 of a cent piece of bread = no more leaking sink. Just a tip I wanted to share with others Conner, you don't need my tip.

the bread temporarily stops supply drip while fittings are installed. The resulting dryness increases adhesion of pipe dope or solder
Then it theoretically dissolves and washes thru

Just signed the papers with the contractors to do a full kitchen remodel and complete my master bathroom remodel. Here are the current shots of the two rooms...

Since the blinds will be open to enjoy the new view I decided to add mirror tint.

It works great. I used cling on instead of adhesive. It is gold but for some reason it came out silver. Maybe due to having dual pane windows.

The difference between the mirror tint and no tint.

I plan to make something like this soon. Underneath I'll put a old shop vac and a DIY cyclone dust collector (plenty of idea in google/youtube).
