    I’m pretty sure it was the 1.8L 136hp.

    The new 2.0L 178hp really rips especially in the small hatchback.

    saw somewhere that the new corolla's need 0w-16 oil... such a weird number

    I would have guessed 1.4l considering the MPGs and power. 1.8l is impressive for the MPGs, but I would have expected a bit more oomph? I wonder if the usual Taco feeling bled over?

    It was a quick trip, so I didn't get the chance to pop the hood.

    I’m not sure they even have a 1.4l maybe the Yaris. This hatchback gets 33 mpg so it’s better than most for almost 180hp.

    As for hybrids (Prius) we’ll never buy another one.

    Because they cost more money to get better gas mileage and when the $5000 battery dies you have to replace it even when the gas engine still works
