TWSS 2018 What Did Santa Bring? (Photo thread)

My birthday is July 4th if you're feeling generous!

 

I don’t think it’s fair to yourself to beat yourself up because you’re not in a financial place to spend $100+ on someone’s gift. Just my two cents! If they didn’t like their gift they could’ve made a more reasonable wish list.

 

I’m all for giving, but I like the receiving part, too!

 

JMO, but I wouldn't fel bad if you spent $40. The $20 is just a minimum..and like you said if something isn't in your budget there's no shame

 

I want to participate at some point, gotta recoup from house purchase first!

 

Like everyone else is saying, spending $40-50 is plenty. I feel like the majority of the participants didn’t go over $100, especially not me. However, my giftee did have some cheaper stuff on his wishlist which was helpful.
It’s just not reasonable for someone to expect to get something worth $100 in a secret Santa when the minimum is clearly $20.

I wouldn’t feel so bad but I was expecting like a trd coffee mug or a Toyota golf towel.

I publicly shamed myself.

At least I didn’t stiff my guy. It was several gifts. I should of sent a gift card but... oh well ..

It could have gone so wrong though... what if you were a diabetic who doesn’t drink?

Lol... saw my legs off and call me stumpy! My wife sent me a pic of the king cake while I was at work! She said it smelled absolutely amazing!

So, feel free to tell her how special she is and remind her that she's responsible for next week's kingcake.

 

Their king cakes are the best of the best! And when its carnival season EVERYBODY waits in line at 4am for them.
