    We ended up with 12" of snow total...pretty much ran the snow blower all day. Was almost more than my little 2 stroke Toro could handle (heavy and wet)! Cleared my walks and drive and then worked my way down the street helping the neighbors clear theirs as much as I could.

    Me too! Given the location I an fairly confident it will be a relatively easy fix. It is right where my vertical wall for the porch awning meets the roof slope. Betting it is flashing or maybe even just an ice dam that formed.

    Oh yeah, forgot to update this thread! I went out to my truck today to see if the battery held a charge. It was so dead that it didn't even unlock the doors! Inspected the battery and noticed some dried acid on the bottom of the cage. Pulled it out to find this big ol crack, so needless to say it's toast. I believe it froze and cracked. So rather than deal with optima, and try to get a warranty and mail this thing in etc, I took advantage of batteries+ sale right now. I got 20% off a 27F X2 (northstar equivalent), plus a $30 rebate plus selling my pelfreybilt battery cage, it's only $200 or so out of pocket. Best part is the new battery has better specs than this one, even though it's a little smaller.
