Sure. But you’ll likely have to :sawzall:

    CMC and maybe some plastic

    Nice looking truck.

What did you use to level it? Stock rear suspension? I have pretty much the same truck. Also some have had issues running 285 on the stock off road wheels in regards to them making contact with the upper control arms. Many have used wheel spacers, which in turn also affects fitment.

I used rough country 2” spacers. Still rides real nice. Nothing to rear. I just want to make sure before I get these tires eventually I’ll have no problems. I hear mixed reviews. Some say they fit and some not. Maybe just drop down a tire Size?

Here’s mine with a 1.25 inch front lift and stock rear suspension with 265/75/16 tires.
I keep wondering if I should go to about a 2 inch front lift and add a 1 inch block in the rear.
Not sure how long you’ve had your truck, but my worry with the 285s would be how the shifting is with them. It’s quirky enough with the 265s.

Mine are just steps and not sliders. Tyger brand off of Amazon. Should have probably just spent the extra money on sliders initially, but didn’t.

@11Bguy did you hit your UCA with bigger tires? Or did you replace both at the same time I can’t remember.

I did 2" at both ends and 285's fit fine.
Very slight rubbing on UCA's at full lock. Certainly tolerable, given how infrequently it happens.

I have 2in Eibach coilovers rather than a block/spacer style lift, but I got exactly 2 inches of lift when initially installed. It has settled a bit since then to about 1.5 inches over factory height. These are 285/75R16 KO2s on Method NV wheels with 0mm offset. The don't even come close to the cab mounts or anything on the front, but I did have to cut a few strategic notches in the mud flaps. When I took the flaps completely off, I had zero rubbing, but I wanted to keeps the flaps for paint protection.

However, there is also a lot of variability in these trucks. Some run 285s on a 2in lift with no problems, others apparently rub like crazy without a CMC. Just sharing my experience.

So 285/75/16 will they fit on stock TRD wheels?

They will definitely fit on the wheels. According to this guy, you can run them with stock suspension and minor trimming/bending:

The alignment can make a big difference with getting a 285 tire combination
