    I was looking at rooms for about $650/month including utilities.

    Also saw some houses in the "country" about an hour outside of Portland, and every house had some sort of shop and land. And going for mid $300s. Compared to Va, thats a steal!

    But back when I wanted to be in AZ, i saw a badass house. 5BR/4 bath, pool, 3 car garage and attached indoor RV garage for $285k. That could easily be shop space and room for toys

    Yea man we have been ruined being out east with their prices. Damn for 300 that’s crack prices. Sounds like either way lodging should be pretty affordable. Would you bring much of your stuff out west?

    Id sell my couches, my bed is old - so that would be trashed. Id only bring my TV, motorcycle, and toolbox/garage items, and clothes. Everything else id probably get new/find on Craigslist.

    There has been a purpose for me living with bare essentials haha. Not much to take with me wherever I go.

    You may want to keep the small tires/wheels for the cross country trip if your going to tow a fairly heavy trailer. Especially through the Rockies.
