    Workin' on it....
I think plate bumpers and sliders and the spruce would look right at home on the GX but I agree on a stock looking rig, spruce isn't quite as sexy as a magnetic grey or even a white.

Anybody strap their spare in the bed? Thinking about stopping by @SDHQ OFFROAD and grabbing their 3 point strap, but every picture I find online is a DCSB that has different layout to the bolts.

Those big ass torx bolts and/or D rings look pretty obvious but just eyeballing it I think it probably would spread the harness wider than it wants to go.

I also wanna find some fastener for the center strap that lays mostly flat, because I will occasionally need to push the spare up on its side and mount up a dirt bike or scooter.

Are they doing those s'mores graham cracker ones this year again?? Those were the underdog hit of the season IMO.

Not the prettiest set up but this looks like it works and retains a decent amount of bed space. Not sure if this is what you were thinking.

I can't even really tell what he's doing there.

What I had in mind was basically holding the spare in the exact position in my picture, using the Y-strap.

Gotcha thought the y straps were more for vertical mount with the chase type rack setup.

Is there a reason why you want to loose bed space voluntarily? AZ sun is the worst for dry rot keep the tire out of the sun and away from thief’s back under the truck

I was planning on drilling the bed for the center portion but there's enough fixtures on either side that it bears investigating piggybacking on a hole that's already there.

Anyways reason being I wanna run one of these:
And it doesn't play nice with a spare tire.

I guess I could try to scare up an Xrunner brace from years gone by and have a fabricator modify it for clearance & to mate with my hammer hangers, but that seems like an awful lot more effort than just strapping the spare down in the bed.

Don’t create problems. Your shackles aren’t going to bend man. Just put the pare downnn and step away from the truck.

Even cutting out the supports around the spare tire my 33.6" Toyo MT 255/85/16 rubbed on the diff, and caught on the diff protector.. just scrap that location for a spare unless you are running smaller tires.

Oh I know those fuckers aren't going to bend, they're the archive garage ones.

Based on the massive difference the hangers made, I think its fair to say I want more.

I guess maybe the return on investment is marginal at this point, I could spend the money on higher caster UCAs or clickers.:notsure:
