I did the rear chrome bumper but decided to just replace the grill with a Sport one. My truck was all color matched when I traded it in, it looked really good all MGM.

Nice. Is that stock ride height? What kind of roof rack is that?

Sweet. Yeah I saw you mentioned that on my build thread, I haven’t had a chance to respond yet. I found that Duplicolor has an exact match to the MGM, so I’m think about giving that a shot.

Off of Earls ford? Or warwoman rd? I love that road, that creek crossing is my favorite thing. Also I love how it takes you straight to the chattooga. Have you ever been down Sandy ford, a couple miles up from Earls ford? It takes you to chattooga as well but is def much more accessible.

Thanks man, I love it as well. The supercharger is fun:D minus the requirement for premium fuel but I guess you gotta pay to play!

I’m not a very good painter so I just unbolted the chrome bumper skin and had a local shop powdercoat it, it was actually pretty cheap and wound up being an exact color match.

From what I read on here it was going to be about the same price to get the sanding pads and self etching primer and paint, and then there was still the chance I’d jack it up. If you have paint skills and do good prep I’m sure the paint will look great.

That powdercoat was stupid easy though. I think they charged me like $75 to do it. I can’t remember because I had Tundra bumper end caps and some wheels done at the same time. I even took the bolts out of my Method NV’s and had them powdercoated too. I just ordered the powder and took it to them. I actually think I have MGM powder left over, not sure though.

Hmmmm, yeah those are things I haven’t quite thought about yet. I suppose you’re right as far as cost. I have a friend who knows a guy that can powder large items so I’ll have to see what he’d charge. I still think I may try the paint on the front chrome on the grill.

Just something to consider. I was super impressed with the powdercoat over chrome. Not trying to sell you on anything, just sharing my experience. Here’s what it wound up looking like.

Shaun, where you running Built Right UCAs on your 2nd Gen (looks like Built Rights in the picture)? I'm in need of the tork specs for Built Rights which is why I'm asking. So far I've had no luck getting the specs from Built Right

No they were the Camburg BJ UCA’s. Do the built rights have extra adjustments like the SPC’s?

I'm not familiar with Camburgs so I'm not sure. Thanks for getting back with me.

Holy cannoli, that looks fanstastic! I may seriously have to consider that. You said the color is this cadillac grey?

Yep that’s it. It looks darker on the paint swatch. Go to gallery and check out some of the applied pics.

    Hello, all!

Moving to Valdosta this week... been living the good life out west the past few years, but grew up in Birmingham, and am excited to get back to the South East. Love taking the tacoma out camping and fishing on weekend excursions... if any one has any recommendations, I'm all ears. looking forward to getting out there with you guys.
