Here's the build on my 04 Tacoma. I got it a year ago this month with 99k miles on it. Traded in my 95 4x4 ext cab 2.7 auto for this 4x4 DC 3.4 auto TRD. Besides the V6, this has power everything, CD, cruise, etc my other Tacoma didn't. It was very plain.

First thing I did was pick up some seat covers.

My brother found the TW website & the mods began.

I went to a local boat shop and ordered a 4" deckplate & put an AFE Pro Dry S filter behind it.

I picked up a Universal DRL module from webelectricproducts.com .

Grey wire mod w/switch, fog lights & aux back up lights followed. The amber is for the fog lights, red is for my aux back up lights & the silver at the bottom is for the locker.

Muffler Masters installed a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler I picked up @ Advanced Auto. I picked up (4) leds from Radio Shack & put (2) in each of my cupholders. They are tapped into the lamp that lights up the window my the gear selection (P-R-N-D).

Before Christmas I was fortunate & was picked by Bob to receive a Devil Horns emblem made by Andres.

    Blue plug mod for 2low.

A couple of days ago I picked up a short rubber antenna.

I guess that's a year in review of my Tacoma so far. Upcoming mods I'm looking towards are bed lights, locker skid plate, & who knows. Thanks for looking.

    Thanks!
I'm an electrician, so I enjoy electrical stuff.
It's on the driver side of the transfer case. So simple. I ran the transfer case & 4WD button in every position to make sure the appropriate things that were suppose to happen did. It works.

Yeah, I just researched it and I do not have the push button 4wd, so I have to wire a switch inline with the wire that sends power to the ADD in order to have 2low. Seems easy enough.

A couple of weeks ago I picked up these Pro Comp lights from 4 Wheel Parts in Westminster,CO while driving up to Cheyenne, Wyoming where I've been working for the past 11 weeks. Finally got some time tonight to put them on. Going out later to get them aimed.
This morning I stopped by the 4 Wheel Parts here in Colorado Springs & picked up a receiver shackle & tow strap.

Picked up a set of leaf helper springs. I get several loads of firewood a year and my last truck seemed to sag after awhile, so I don't want the same to happen to this one. Hopefully this will help.

hey doug, how do you like that DRL kit on your blinkers? I'd like to do something like that sometime. Is there a way you can turn the DRL's off?

I like it! There's a wire that you hook up to a power source that's only on when the ignition is on, so I'd say if you put a switch inline with that you could disable the DRL when you don't want it on. I've thought about doing this, just haven't yet.

The light pattern of the fog lights I'd gotten worked out better than anything else I'd tried, so I decided to get a pair of Pro Comp's driving lights as well. I put these on last weekend. I haven't had a chance yet to see how these do @ night. But tonight I will. I know they're not as clean as the Hellas that will fit in the spaces in the valance, but they cost more, too.

Ok cool deal. The fact that the kit is universal made wonder how it would be. Yeah if i got around to it, I'd def throw a switch in bc theres sometimes I wanna be stealthy while pulling in the house after a late night

Not popular with some people I know, but I got some nerf bars for my truck. Our boys (short like me) like the ease of getting in now.
