Hey Connecticut, our everything hurts

Just lost power. ☹️

 

No bueno.

 

Had a feeling yesterday that this might happen so I ran the generator for a while, changed the oil and replaced the plug. Fired right up. Then got my neighbors generator going (he always forgets to run the gas out).
A few minutes later, the power came back on!

 

Well - screw my neighbor. He did come clear my driveway last night, but helping him get a deal, yeah-no. Done with it.
But I'd be interested in someone who can handle tall trees, if he's still interested in some side work down in Danbury I'd be glad to talk to him. Some clean up, some removal, some get your damn branches off my air rights.

But, if I helped my neighbor down that big tree, then I could pave my driveway, then actually hire a plow guy. None will touch my driveway until I repave & I won't repave while that tree keeps lifting my drive. LOL - guess i'm not over it. Damn trees, don't' belong in the city!

The job I applied for, that they messed up on the original letter, they sent out new ones and I "got through" the first step, now the second is taking a test, and it's this Saturday morning at the high school, in the cafeteria.

Sorry man. Would love to have been able to go and help.

Test taking anxiety is the real deal. Try to minimize the activity in your head, "It's just a written test, not the deciding factor, etc" and do all the self-health stuff, eat well, get good rest the night before!

Definitely going to try and stay as calm as possible and just roll with it. I might "spoil" myself and have a beer or two Friday night to take the edge off, since I haven't really had much since I started to try and lose a few lbs a week or two ago. But we'll see...

 

Yeah do whatever will help you the most. Going through a grueling school program with “make or break” tests every 2-3 weeks, you learn to deal with this sort of thing haha.

I don't comment here, but I have been following your struggle Nuno, and I will say this....

All my friends who ever did such a thing before a test regretted it! Run around with your kids or go try to jump in some extra soccer games to wear yourself out. Have the drinks after

DANG MAN. Good luck to you as well then! Not sure what it covers to be honest. The letter I received didn't say much, so... guessing it might be general questions to determine if I am a good fit for the position or not. Most likely customer service related type stuff, and things of that sort, since from the listing itself it sounds like there would be some interaction with the public.
