Any of you 2nd gen guys need a brand new antenna/whip mount for the bed of the Tacoma? MSRP is $35 asking $25. Didn’t realize it was for 2nd gens only when my bro got it for me.

 

How does that mount?

Dang that is nice, but it wont work with my bed stiffeners. That's the problem with my current one I had to cut it to work with them and now it's not as strong.

There are some hunter camps in the Choccolocco management area that offer what you are looking for. Check the maps and make sure you are within the allowed camping dates. Between deer and turkey season is always a good time to go.

Yeah, nobody makes one for the third gen that I know of. There were some guys that did but they stopped because the gaps between the tailgate and bed were inconsistent. I wound up just making one.

Also, anybody in here running aftermarket HIDs? Any recommendations on brand that aren't $200 a pop? Mine is still blown and I cant make myself drop that amount of money on lights. I want the brightest I can since I have projectors and can correctly aim them, but I'm a po mo fo right now. Also, my DOT approved yellow/amber foglights were considered illegal to run. They are under my headlights and angled down. I didn't get a ticket but the cop (Scottsboro City, which(most, not all) are the biggest poser/pricks you will ever deal with) tried to show his fake authority threatened to give me a ticket "every time he sees me, running them or not". So instead of fighting fire with fire, I'm just going to move them to ditch lights and put some LEDs back in again.

just run the po mo fo stock lights like we peasants do instead of blinding everybody lol

 

And halogens in projectors are actually dimmer than non projector housings

 

doesn't matter how well you aim them, if they are bright lights then they are blinding. I understand the desire for brighter lights to see better, but I moreso understand the desire for people to not have brighter lights so that I can see better.
