Yes I agree, I tried looking around for this new spec'd shock and there is not much out there on it. Everything I've come across would be the "2nd gen" shocks information

So I just ordered the 3rd gen specific kit from a vendor who had them in stock. I don't intend to lift the rear at all and only the front to level out the truck. What notch would you guys suggest? I am thinking the #4/#3 settings. I intend to either get some form of helper springs in the rear for when I tow my boat, whether it be airbags or something like the Sumo or Hellwig.

Also, what brand tophat are people ordering and where from? Intention is to pre-assemble the front coilovers so I don't have to disassemble the stocks.

Rock auto has the KYB, for the best price, you need to measure from the center of your hub to the bottom of your wheel well, then the difference between the front and the back is what you’re going to choose . For example if the measurement is 1.3 inches, and Setting three is 1.2 inches, and setting for is 1.5 inches, you would choose setting three that way the front is only .1 inches lower than the back. Unless you like your back lower. Then whatever setting you choose you said to right shock to that, then you go up one notch on your left to account for the lean

Thanks for the suggestion, will perform these measurements when ready to install. Unfortunately when I searched earlier, I didn't see the KYB for the 2018 so I ordered the Monroe. Went back and checked that the KYB was listed under 2016. I am assuming either will be fine as of equal quality?
