Hello everyone with the new introduction of Morimoto D2S 5.0 projectors, our Morimoto D2S 4.0 projectors are now old stock to us and we decided to hold a discounted group buy with the remaining 5 sets we have left in our inventory. I'm on mobile so I might be seeing this incorrectly, when I click through the link for the 05-11's, it gives me the options to build a new set to my preferences.

When you say you only have five sets left I assume that means you have five pre-built pre spec'ed ready to go that cannot be customized?

The housings and exterior lenses that you use, are they OEM or aftermarket?

 

Hi these are not prebuilt and will take time to build you can customize them but only with Morimoto 4.0 projectors. We use aftermarket headlights that we warranty completely.

 

What’s the difference from the 5.0s and the 4.0s?

 

5.0 has different slope at the cut off and hotter hot spot. 4.0 first pic and 5.0 second pic

I want some new headlights. On your web page you have lots of options. Not sure what everything is? Any way you can show examples of what the options are? I'm very interested! How soon can i get them after i place the order?

Most likely we do but some we just never used for tacomas. What shroud options were you looking at? Also we have some on our Facebook page

For the 2008 taco headlights I cant see the difference in photos between Smoked color matched clear and tinted is there a reference to this aside from the photos provided on the site? thanks!
