    I could see having a group of referees behind a bank of cameras, up in the booth, transmitting information live to the field to one guy making the call. They could have replays running instantly as needed. At home we know the outcome of every tough call before the refs do. Surely a group of people with the right cam angles and equipment could keep things rolling efficiently and not mess up game flow and always make the right call.

    Sometimes multiple angles is necessary. Edelman’s non touch on that punt is perfect example. Each angle you would swear he touched the ball with the other hand, but then the opposite angle showed he definitely did not.

    Anything to get the right outcome.

    They have at least one replay official per game already and when a replay is necessary the guy on the guy on the field does not make the call on replays

    Obviously. Agreed. Thing is; what would have been the outcome had they made the correct call, and flagged the facemask infraction. The entire game changes on that call. Maybe LA gets a TD instead of a field goal. What if?
