@ovrlndkull not sure how you were able to open up the back part of the ifs skid. I guess I could pull the ifs off and take a heavy hammer to it. @EddyRRT am I just not massaging it enough to get it to fit?

I didn't need to open it up it just slid right it. I did have to bend the pass side back into shape because I did bend that corner up pretty good. Just bolt it up to the back side of the IFS skid and not overlap them like I did.

Ive been here since 1st week of October last year.. It's looking like i'll be spending Christmas (again) here

 

When I come down in April I'll make the trip up and we can go play around in Croatan Natl' forest a bit.

Just need to get my winch installed and my dual batteries and I can say im done with the truck.

It's right up the road from you. Mostly forest rds and mud pits but it's a pretty cool area. That's about all the off-roading you'll find besides the beaches in coastal area of NC

 

Any of you have a 3D printer? I think it's the newest thing that I "need"

 

Jesus. Its pretty boring and flat out here. .-. Cant say i'd like to ever live on the beach again after this project here is over. The hype isn't all that honestly. Then again ive been here from the Fall-Winter currently.

 

It's Jacksonville also it's a Marine town that's about it. If you get the time go exploring up around Manteo, Wanchese, Shackleford Banks etc. You'll get to see some cool stuff there. Just gotta get away from Jacksonville.

 

I'd love to get away maybe this weekend. I work from 6am-6:30Pm, then I go run and by the time I get back from freezing my ballsack off it's shower and beer:30 lol

 

I considered it but it’d be a complete novelty item for me and would probably just sit and take up space.
