Anyone have experience with Tufskinz glovebox letters?

Hello all. A few weeks ago I installed Tufskinz inserts for the glovebox letters. All the letters sat nice and flush in the "TACOMA" embossing except for the T. The top bar of the T was too fat to squeeze into the embossing. I thought this may have been due to error on my part so removed the letters and ordered a new set. When I installed the new set the same thing happened. All the letters fit great except for the T. It's too fat so it sticks out slightly instead of sitting flush. Anyone else have bad experiences with tufskinz glovebox letters or just tufskinz products in general? I thought they were supposed to be known for their quality fitment. I'm not too impressed though. I already contacted tufskinz. Hopefully they can send me a replacement that will fit properly or at least refund my money. $25 a pop is pretty steep for tiny plastic letters that don't fit properly.

 

Seen a few YouTube videos of folks “installing” them... none reported a fitment issue and they looked really good on the posters Tacoma. Was thinking about buying myself... waiting now to see if Tufskins follows through on your customer service request, good luck and pls post result.

 

Just put them on my tailgate and love them, fit was perfect. Was thinking about the glovebox letters myself.

 

The only problem I had was the USPS crushed the first package. Tufskinz promptly replaced it.
The fit is a little tight but needs to be in order to keep things looking straight.
Chrome deleters move on now

 

I bought some Tufskinz glovebox inserts that were much brighter than they appeared on the web site. There was no problem returning them and getting a different color. I put them on several days ago, they were a perfect fit. Has Tufskinz replied to you yet?

 

No issues with fitment for me.

Those are "Charcoal Silver", which look bright in my photo and on the Tufskinz web site but really are pretty dark.

Is the color "carbon fiber" and if so, could you post more photos ? I have been thinking about installing carbon fiber glove box letters and vent rings.

Yeah the Tufskinz stuff is topnotch. I love CF so I've been happy with all the pieces I've gotten from them.

I am trying to decide between the carbon fiber and cement; vent rings and glovebox letters. Toyota calls the color of my seats and the door trim “cement”. Any of you know if the vent rings cement matches Toyota’s cement color ?

 

Installed Tufskinz glove box letters and vent rings. I went with “raw carbon fiber”. Very happy with the results.

 

Got these from a TW member. Went with a color that matched the trim.
