Got some stuff done before the snow this past weekend.

Replaced my stock shift knob with an OEM TRD knob made for an FJ cruiser. I wedged a 3/4" rubber grommet into the collar of the boot. I'm pretty happy with the overall look:


Finally got around to taking the front air dam off. Haven't noticed any drop in MPG since I took it off this past Friday. Loving the extra clearance:


Also, I installed some LED reverse lights and license plate lights. The reverse lights are noticeably brighter, but not too bright that I can't see anything out of my rear view camera:

 

Thanks got it done, looks good but the radar control mute button mount is not all the way into the empty slot as I would like it to be, had to do a lot of filing just to get it in this far. Had to leave the fuse block cover off due to the fuse tap wire

 

2nd truck I’ve done it to. Both were/are fairly new when I did it. I just applied a little heat, start at the corner and pull it off. 15 mins top.

 

Your truck looks great. I was looking at those gun metal TRD wheels at the dealership but I'm not sure how they would work with Cement.

Anyone have ideas on what to plug these holes up with? Was thinking of some kind of rubber grommet of some sort. Holes are about 3/4-1” in diameter.

Mountain bike grip shifter and eye-balling some different wheels today.

 

Did someone drill them or are they factory holes?

 

I drilled those holes when I got my Gatortrax MX cover for the drain tubes. Now no mas cover so my ocd is kicking in. Looks like @HelloMyNameIs posted the parts I need though.

Saw pics somewhere with gun metal TRD wheels on cement and I thought they looked great IMO. Thinking of going this way myself.
