That's all I'm really looking for. Whether I go full swap with the Spyder or similar or just bulb swap, I want to get rid of the horrible halogen lighting.

I just got into my 19 pro and really need to do something with the low beams first. Please recommend a plug n play LED kit for me that won't burn out or melt shit.

For a "kit" do you mean like a full housing swap? If so, as I mentioned, I'm going for the Pro-Tuning Lab HID Projector headlights. As far as bulbs I've read some decent reviews on AuxBeam. No personal experience with either, just basing it off what I've read on TW and other sites.

As in kit I mean Right and Left bulbs. I need to hear from someone who's had LED's for a while with proof they're not garbage and a waste of money. I want something that is easy to replace and doesn't flicker too.

    Indeed! I'm not sold! haha

It's a toss up if I go the Spyder route between smoked/black and clear/black. Otherwise I'll remain stock for now and just swap out the bulbs...

I replaced my reverse lights with LEDs from diode dynamics. I was going to put a set of LED pods back there for better visibility at night but after putting these in its more than enough. They are more expensive than others but from my experience LEDs are one of those things where you get what you pay for.

I see what you mean about not being totally sold on them. Something a little weird about those lights. I really like the Winjet ones, but they have mixed reviews. Might get them and put a bead of sealant around the housings before install.

Went from winjets to the spyder tail lights and I’ve been way happier about the spyder tail lights. Winjets quality was pretty bad compared to spyder but I did like the look of the winjet a little more.

I’m happy with the spyder ones only downside is they kinda look like Chevy lights but whatever.

When I did have OEM tail lights and put led reverse lights in them they never really were up to par in the back up cam as the original reverse lights were

For me it was the smoked look on a white truck. I think on a darker color they would be much nicer!

I've heard nothing but nightmare stories of Winjet which is why I'm avoiding them at all costs. I've ruled them out to the point where I wouldn't even bother with them if I found a brand new pair for free. Between errors and difficulties with proper installation, I simply removed them from my options. On top of all that, I heard they were dim during the day and that is the exact opposite results to what I'm trying to achieve.

I'm glad you like the switch and report back good things. I don't mind the chevy look, for whatever reason it seems there are a lot of tacoma owners that like the ford raptors and those lights/similar(?). Regardless, I like the split box look.

Do you know if they're bright during the day as well (from all the photos people have posted they're all at night which show them plenty bright in the dark)? What I mean is you can clearly tell (as someone behind you) you're applying the brakes/turn signal? That's my issue with OEM, the halogen are crap.

As I've mentioned previously, I personally don't love any of the aftermarket lights out there. But if I were to go with anything in the near future, I'm leaning towards Spyder thanks to all of you guys. I'm trying to picture though how the clear lens lights would look on the white truck... There's no chrome showing on this version either so I'm considering it over the smoked lens just as an option away from the dark look

Here’s som pics I took this morning, in the light. They work great and are definitely noticeable, I am sure if you got the non smoked version they would be even better.

Also I think the clear lense would look great on a white truck.

Seconded. Assuming this is the route I take I'm going to grab the clear lens. Thanks for taking the pics as well, between yours and LA_Stu's you guys helped settle it.

If you get the clear ones, please post some pics... I'm really interested to see how they look!
