I'm confused, if your truck was deemed totaled - how are you able to sell the parts off it? Did they let you keep the truck after the payout?

Typically you get a few days to remove belongings. Often people part out their mods during this time.

How does that work when your vehicle gets totaled - do you ask for permission from the insurance company to pull your parts off to sell privately? Did you first try to see if insurance would cover a certain % of the aftermarket stuff?

 

They said they may not cover over 1500 in aftermarket because I didnt add the coverage. As long as I put shocks back on like OEM I can take the others off.
