What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Has to go there, everything by my left knee is taken by OR controls. I think those are the factory seat warmer spots. I did notice the harness has a little paddle with on/off so I could stick that somewhere convenient. Not as nice as the lit up switch but way easier.

If you pull that blank out it will most likely have a harness attached. I just unplugged the harness and stuck it back in there. I pulled my wires through and hooked up the swithches

 

remember if you want one of those switches they illuminate. It's nice you just need to tap an add a fuse to the panel fuse so when you turn your lights on it lights up also. It will then light up a second time when you turn the lights on

None of it is hard just a pain in the ass for me working under the dash with a really bad back

Acquired and installed a Hi-Lift on my roof rack:

 

After nearly a month, I received my Total Chaos bed stiffeners from Amazon. It seems there was a goof-up on the shipping label because for roughly 17 days, the package was shipped back and forth between the same distribution center and post office. I ended up requesting and receiving a full refund since I just assumed the package was stuck in an endless loop of package purgatory. Luckily it was eventually sorted out and delivered. I contacted the seller on Amazon to ensure they got paid again, but they said not to worry about it since they had no record of me purchasing from them... so unless Amazon contacts me with more info, I guess got them for free?

Anyway, installation was a piece of cake and they fit perfectly with no necessary modifications needed on my carpeted platform. Though in order to make my platform sit a bit more flush with the bed, I may take a forstner bit to the underside of the platform where the large bolt rests.

Got the compressor wired up to the Spod

Made some “terminals” for the battery connections that are getting full... need the dual bat. Set up already!


I wasn’t sure what the green and yellow wires were to I thought they were to the other half of the compressor not sure anyone got an idea? I just stowed them for the time being.

Ordered a set of wheels and tires for it.

 

Replaced the stock fogs with the Morimoto XB LED fogs after noticing condensation on the passenger side light. Very easy plug n play install and I’m very pleased with the quality and performance of these Morimoto’s.

 

With a V6 ? How the did you get that with 33's ? Gearing ? I changed my gearing and cannot get out of the 14 mpg
