    I had my front driveshaft lengthened years ago when I first got the crawlbox, but never had a rear done. How much needs to be cut off it? I seem to remember it being 8 1/2 inches. I figure I'll drop it off this week to get cut down. I'm finally installing this thing in the truck it was originally meant for.

    Anyone else install duals in a first gen taco (mine is 4 door but i assume the trans tunnel is the same for extended cab) with the fror cross member? Just curious how much loud hammer clearance others have done. I have hammerred out to clear the chain drive case and am now adding some clearance for the cross member itself, and of course the cross member is fighting exhaust on one side and the e brake bracket on the other.

    I used to have the fror crossmember and my tunnel is beat to fuck to clear the gussets. At least three quarters of an inch beat back

    I need to install my ADD switch this weekend. I know most people are replacing the 4WD switch with a blank panel from a prerunner and putting the switch there. Anyone have a part number for that blank panel. I haven't found anything on the Toyota parts diagrams

    Well my box is in, FJ Case and shifters done, ADD wired, got the dash lights working with the FJ case.

    I've got the dash pulled apart at the moment so I haven't tried my Elocker, but I'm betting its not gonna work, or will only work if the FJ case is in 4LO (I'm triple sticked). Anyone have problems with this, or better yet solutions. I'm thinking i might have to do the locker anytime mod

    @SGTCap E-locker anytime. I don’t know if it was only my truck, but after the mod the elocker didn’t always engage when I wanted it to. So more of a e-locker most-of-the-time-mod. Sometime you’d have to drive a bit in order for it work. Just something you’d have to adapt to when wheeling. If you were already in some shit, sometimes it wouldn’t engage. Not like an air locker that’s instantaneous. I’d have to try and engage it before entering a tough spot.

    I alrady have that problem. I kinda hate the elocker for a couple reasons, but I'm stuck with it for now.

    I'd like to get a new 8.75 rear diff from a 3rd Gen and swap it in with an ARB. Should be a pretty good improvement in strength, a direct bolt up (I imagine) and get rid of that stupid elocker.

    Maybe when I start parting out my SAS truck I'll do that

    E-locker on the 3rd gen is different from the 2nd gens. I believe it works differently as well.
