No tax credit. Yeah, if I can get $26k on trade, I'd be pretty happy. $27k would be better, but I expect nothing more than that.

And for those recommending an Off Road, I am looking for a Cement one in the configuration I'm after. We'll see.

I guess we're on the same team too! Colors are subjective but I don't think I could've live with Voodoo Blue. White is too plain, plus I had nothing but the white cars for the last 6 years (still have two), Black... hell NO! too old and busy to be washing and waxing every week, lol.

Keep the 2015 and put 5-7k into suspension, wheels, and tires.

I already have the TRD Pro suspension installed, 3rd Gen rear leaf springs, aftermarket 17" wheels with BFG AT KO2's C's installed.

Yep, 7 tacomas, thought the same thing, went to go do paperwork and just couldnt trust myself I could a)pay that much for a tacoma and b) live with the color everyday, so walked away in my 17 MGM, picked up the 19 Cement just before Christmas and in love, at first thought I may regret it being too trendy, but still smile everytime I see it. I've had Super White, Silver Sky, Silver Mica, Black (never again as you mentioned) and Radiant Red. Cement for the win!

My two cents: keep it and buy a supercharger.

I got 25k for my 2012 TRD sport 4x4 with 50k miles and completely stock. It may be a good idea to sale the aftermarket suspension & tires to get some extra$$$

Gonna look into that OVTune then! I just have a set of GWR Progress Springs, Greddy axle black, and then the Rays Gramlight 57 Transcends with 235/40/17 square. A lot more fun with springs and wider tires, but it could benefit from a little more pep.

Another day of having the dang TRD Pro on my mind....

Look at that Super White! Ain't she purdy?

Oh wait, there's my 2015 hiding back there. Damn!

I had to work a bit late, so no Voodoo Blue PRO for me today. In the mean time, I'm working on a quote for a 2019 TRD Off Road DCLB in Cement with TRD Premium, Tech, Mudguards, All Weather and Door Sill Package, TRD Oil Filter and the TRD Exhaust (says dual exhaust?). I really like the Cement color on these trucks. Best deal I have gotten is for a DCSB which was loaded and that was 9.03% off MSRP. If I can get close to that on the Cement from a different dealer, I might pull the trigger. If I do, a Shift Sense V2 is in my future.

What do you guys think of the DCLB's? Back in 2016, they were like unicorns, but these days, they seem to be fairly easy to locate out this way.

Quote seems right. I bought a 2019 TRD DCSB OR 4WD in Cement (tech/premium/etc.) sticker was $41.5k and got it for $37.2k. I got $32k for my 17 in similar config with 16k miles, same rate with TFS (2.9%@60mo), walked away a happy camper.

As far as the DCLB, I've had 2 a 2015 and 2016, though I loved it for when I was hauling my bikes to the track, the other 10% of the time it was a bitch to park, terrible turning radius, etc. I was worried when I switched to a DCSB for my 17, but have never looked back. They really aren't unicorns and wont hold any higher significant resale over a SB, I'd drive both and see if you really need the extra bed space. Good luck man.

The only option I didn't like is the Oil Filter. I want a Premium/Tech package truck. I'd rather have the TRD Pro exhaust with the black tip, but having it chrome won't kill me.

Seems to me that many of the problems found in the 16's (which I test drove and didn't buy) have been remedied. I waited and bought an 18 thinking all would be good.
Wrong! Although I really like the truck, it has the low speed brake shudder, very annoying, and up to this point is unresolved by my dealer, though they are trying. Point is....it is still a crap-shoot on what you end up with. At 40k+ that is unacceptable. While at the dealership for new rear drums, I drove a Limited 19. First thing I noticed was the hood vibrating which has been a past problem and must still be a problem.
Going back I would not buy the 18 truck again and going ahead if the shudder issue remains unresolved I will probably move on. This is my 5th Toyota truck and the first to be a problem.

Yes, don’t be fooled into thinking Toyota has fixed all the problems. The endless vibes have not been resolved since 2005. Clearly they never will. If your current truck is good do something that freshens it up for yourself and keep it. I had to drive 3 trucks before I found one that I was willing to take because the first couple had vibes.

The presumption that the Tacoma's reputation for keeping a high resell value is something that I would look at with a degree of skepticism and as the market changes may not be the safe bet it has been.

    1. TRD Pro bought at MSRP "MAY" keep its value.
    2. TRD Pro bought above MSRP will not likely keep that premium.
    3. Your 15 has kept its value.

The reality is that Tacoma's are antiquated compared to models of similar price which means that as more competitors enter the market, the 2019 shows its age (Entune, Drum brakes, under powered engine, sloppy Tran, lack of power seats).

Not bashing TAcomas in general, or Pros, but the best way to ensure a truck holds value, is to buy it at a significant discount off list which is OR and Sport territory.

All good points worth consideration. I have a solid trade offer now on my 2015 @ $27k from a dealer where I can get 9% off of a TRD Off Road or MSRP on a PRO.
