Can anyone tell me if 2014+ OEM Tacoma fog light housings will fit a 2014+ 4runner?

Saw a Morimoto review where someone ordered the wrong fogs for their 18 T4R, and got the ones for a Tacoma, rather than returning them they modified them fit are were able to get it to work. This was a review comment on a site that sold Morimotos and provided no details. Not very helpful I know, but someone has supposedly done it.

Hmm. The Morimotos that fit 2012+ Tacos are only listed to fit up to 2017 T4Rs. You had no problem getting them into your 18?

2018 should be the same as 2017. Nothing changed.

Yeah like NMTrailRider say, it a direct fit plug and play. Morimotos website probably hasn't updated their info just yet.

Another question... I've read that the TRD OR fogs are wide angle. The SR5 are not. Is there truth to this?

Anyone have part numbers for the OR fogs?

That is correct, though it is all TRD models Sport/OR/Pro. Hence why the TRD fogs rage high power H11s (same as headlights) vs other model very low output H16s.

Thanks. My 2017 4runner came with H16 fogs. If I put the Tacoma TRD fogs in the 4runner (reverse compatible), would the wiring support H11 bulbs?

Check the fog fuse. The H11s will draw about 4.6A each or 9.2A combined. The Tacoma’s use the same H11 rated circuit on both the H11 TRD and H16 non-TRD trucks. Unsure on 4Runner. The plug should be the same for both bulbs.
