If it was a contract company 3a will give you the phone number and tell you it's not they're issue.

I’d just cancel right then and there. Then post the pics of the CV damage on google and yelp for the shop with a very detailed description. Can’t be pushed around like that..

Of course this would be after all civil options had been exhausted

Good, now stay on the person assigned to the claim. Be forceful about it. Most shops will try to fix it in house, unless it's a great shop don't go for it. Push for dealer repair.

I have never had a shop touch my vehicle, but i would happily take it to the toyota dealer for new cv axle installation. I dont have the time to do the repair.

looks like the hook went into the axle too so a reboot is not gonna cut it

Too late, they towed it. Now they can eat the repairs. As I told guys I trained, don't cost more than you make..think, then act.

The issue now is, 3a isn't paying shit. They'll write a report and give the contract station crap. But cant force them to pay. Theres a shop in the bay area that's famous for telling 3a and member to piss off and sue him. I mean 3a pays shit for what they want from the companies they contract. You see more 2 truck outfits now.

3a doesn't care if you cancel...they're a world wide company. One membership is nothing compared to the millions they do every quarter. It's sad but true.

We wont even talk about 3a's tipsy tow programs. Nothing like locking me in a truck with a drunk jackass that didn't even pay for a membership...I've had them piss themselves, puke, and crap themselves. I got to clean that up...while dispatch yelled hurry up..I don't miss it.

I think on my 1st gen that I had for about 11 years I had to have it towed twice, due to alternator.. I'll take my chances with my current truck.

I'm not big on memberships/warranty programs. They exist because they make a huge profit as @Muddinfun has just pointed out.. That's enough to make me run in the other direction..
