No problem. Good luck with the install. Oh I also noticed they included a diode in the white switch connector part.

Used a piece of left over 1.5" wide 1/8" strap to make a mounting bracket for my front camera. Cut down to about 3" and drilled a hole for the camera to mount to. The plate acts as a large washer to spread the clamping force over a larger area.

I got everything working yesterday and I really like the new switch, just wish the blue back lighting would match the rest of the OEM switches.

Forgot to mention that this is the camera I went with. I don't think I saw it anywhere in this thread, but I've had good luck with it so far. The seller is also claiming they are going to send me a second camera for free after leaving a positive Amazon review.

Bought a backup camera with monitor from same company and was given same deal of get another with a positive review. Thought "that'll never happen" but I was wrong. Couple emails back and forth and 2 weeks later got another complete kit. Camera and monitor.
Been on the truck for about a month and works fine. Guess I have an extra for a spare.

I use this camera too...But I may swap it out for a higher resolution camera in the near future. This one is a 600TVL (TV Lines) and the one I am looking at is a 900TVL.

That's good to know! I've been exchanging emails with them as well and have been a little skeptical, but they've replied fairly quickly to each email and they just wanted me to leave a review first. I'm asking for a different style camera to replace the $10 three year old backup camera on my FJ that's starting to go out.

I went with a $25, 180deg cam on ebay. Took like 3wks to get to SoCal tho. But so far been happy with the quality and the extra wide range, am able to see corner to corner and fwd at the same view.

Installed this awhile back. Working flawlessly. Use it almost everytime I'm in the truck.

I hate to say it, but I'm modding this mod... no I don't. I'm stoked. Details soon.

Love this site. Good ideas. Tons of knowledge.

Damn that is definitely a better range than the 150 degree one I have. I'm anticipating mainly only using it for parking, but I may get a wider range camera down the line.

Nice picture. Not a big fan of too much 'fisheye' though. I use mine to see what's in front of me as I crest a steep hill of a trail, and know where to place my tires. I like the realistic view my camera provides.

Haven't really had a chance to.test it.out on a trail yet, but swapping cans seem easy enough.

So after going through all my wiring, checking every connection, resoldering and still no picture. I decided to try connecting another camera, that I wasn't going to use, and it worked! Argh! I ended up purchasing the Leekooluu camera and installed it today. Works great! The image is a little white washed but that's ok cause I finally have a front view camera! Thanks to everyone that offered advise!

    I have a question.

I did this mod awhile ago. The only thing I can’t figure out is how to program the Yimu camera.

I can turn the lines on and off, but cannot flatten or widen them and the directions are so gosh darn poopy. I though I had it figured out but was sadly mistaken.

Haven't read all 22 pages, but can you not just buy a front camera only, without the backup camera kit? (anytime front camera only)
