na man, you need to use electrical tape. it even says it in the name what its for. duct tape wont be able to keep on the charged particles from falling out so you will have to refill it every few days. pending weather. the colder the better, and the warmer the worst.

I'm reading up on the TAT tonight. They have some 2/4 day rides mapped out. I could definitely do those.

Can’t complain over here. Big little man came down with a bark-like cough about an hour ago so I’ll be heading out early so I can spend the day with him/take to dr.

How goes the battle with you? Feeling any better?

Same. Can't complain. Just the kind of tired you get to be after fighting something off. Good thing I can get orange juice up stairs in the cafe in the AM.

That type of cough is the worst. Poor little guy

Just be careful not to glue the electrons together. that would be like a blocked artery. bad juju.
and yes/no. I use it for work, policy for connectors exposed is a layer of that, e tape, and scotch coat (liquid tape). oh and replace monthly pretty much. but its a tape that is thicker and will pretty much only stick to itself. but can create a nice seal if done right. I seen stuff submerged for days pull it out and its dry underneath.

That's what we did for our splices and terminal connections. Self V tape first, liquid tape 1" past it, and then a generous amount of electrical tape padded up just for protection ( underwater construction ).

Worked as well as anything could for living underwater in an abusive environment. But you're dead on. Don't right it's rugged.

yup that's pretty much it. stretches like crazy when pulled tight. plumbers also use it for pipes sometimes. just try not to get it dirty as you apply it.

My work wife brought me some homemade chicken and dumplins this morning when she came to work. She had them separated from day shift's stuff :D
