That's right. You saw the title and thought to yourself "what in the actual fuck?"

Too bad, you're here, so help me please.

I will be ordering my Dakar HD leaf springs tomorrow and have been eyeing out these 3 degree shims from wheelersoffroad.com But then, I stumbled on their BILLET ALUMINUM ones linked here My question is simple. I like the idea of aluminum plus they save me a couple bucks, but which ones are better??

And yes, I'm putting the 3 degree shims on with the leaf packs before even measuring angles. I think there's more chance I need them then not, so I'll roll the dice and check the angles after installing with shims.

With heavy wheeling the aluminum shims could change ever so slightly, but so do your leafs over time...have you seen the Toytec ones?

Google 3 degree Toytec shims. There’s only one and it comes with the bolt. I run them with my Dakars.

    Think I paid $32???

I’ve used both types. Heavily off road. Both were fine. Buy the cheaper ones then use the saved money for some shoes. :p

Right on. Thanks for the link. Is the Toytec brand geared towards Toyota?

It says there is drilling required when used with Dakars. Does that mean I need to bore out all of the holes on the leaves in the pack?
