LOL, history repeats itself constantly. There has been new talent on all of Reid coached teams in his 20 years. I truly, TRULY pity KC fans.
Marty Schottenheimer, Marv Levy, Bud Grant, Andy Reid... all the same coach in a different costume.

Well, the talent we have is far better than Brady and he's only 23 and learning a lot. Different strokes, different folks. I know it sucks to imagine that the Patriots Dynasty is going to be crumbling as the Chiefs Dynasty rises. It's truly unfair that no one else has a Mahomes.

Who are the Eagles rolling with, Foles or Wentz? I think Wentz is your starter, but damn.. I feel like Foles should be given a full season to strut his stuff as a starting QB.

 

My guess is Wentz. I wish the Eagles could keep both but it's not financially possible. Looking at both players past, neither has been able to stay healthy an entire season. The fans and media are 95% certain Foles is leaving. I read Foles' book last year and earned a great respect for the kid and also for Reid, it was Reid and Foles' family who convinced him to return to the NFL after the Jeff Fischer/Rams debacle. I hope whoever picks him up designs a Foles friendly offense, maybe Jacksonville

 

Jacksonville would probably be glad to have Foles over Bortles.. Think I read somewhere that Eagles definitely want Wentz too, but sure wish I could see the guy play a full season. Looked like the playoffs were going to be fun with him.

He has a book though? Sounds interesting. Gonna have to find that.

Regardless of what I say and feel about Andy Reid as a coach, I will still cheer for him and hope he wins the SB for you KC fans.

 

Don't they review every play in collage football?

 

I think they print out pictures of all of them and group them together on the wall.

 

Not really, I figure better to have been good and then not good if that's what happens versus the 1-15 and 2-14 days of the Patriots I remember in my younger years. I still question the Jimmy G trade timing.

 

I posed this as a question. Since I could not get a straight answer, I Googled it and here's what I found : Yes, in Collage Football every play is reviewed. In the NFL, only scoring plays, turnovers, plays in the final 2:00 of each half and all overtime period plays are reviewed.

 

Yeah, by the time that OT drive got into the Red Zone the KC defense was totally gassed. Right before the Pats called that run play for Burkhead into the end zone the entire D-line was standing there with their hands on their hips, blowing like draft horses after a pull. But that's a side effect of an offense that's on a roll; if they blow downfield in less than a minute then the defense has no time to rest.

Hopefully the Pats defense has it together for the Superbowl; they've been like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde this season. Some weeks they're an iron curtain, like they were against the Chargers, and some weeks they're an iron sieve (inflexible and full of holes), like they were against Miami when they gave up something like 140 yards on just 12 carries.
