Anyone with a 3" suspension lift on a 3rd Gen?

do your front tires rub at all? mine barley rub the cab mounts and that with my 1" puck and 285/75r17s

Not under any normal conditions or slow off road conditions. However if I hit my driveway going 10-15mph they rub slightly because my driveway is insanely steep.

Opposed to a cmc? Mine didn’t rub before my cmc, however I did the cmc just so I could lower the front end and not rub.

 

only because i cant do the cmc my self or i would of already, and lil smaller tire might help with mpg and power again bc i dont plan on re gearing

 

Yea as soon as someone gets gears in stock again I am, I don’t see myself selling this truck any time soon so I don’t mind.

 

I netted about 3” with my 5100s at 0 on some OME 888s. 285/70/17s, 17x8.5 0 offset. No rubbing, and no I haven’t put the rear lift on because I’m lazy lol

I have decided to go with the old man emu complete kit with 888 springs and the softer valving in the shocks along with the dakars in the back. I'm replacing the UCAs and the bushing to try to eliminate any potential issues right off the bat. We'll see how much lift I get I expect at least 2 inches.

 

Well I tried to have the three inchers come forward but lacking that I guess you're welcome. LOL

 

2017 Off-road DCSB. Icon extended travels up front. Icon remote resis in rear. Dakar leafs. Icon UCAs. 285/75/16’s BFG KM2 on ProComp 7032. At about 2.75 to 3” all around. Plus another 1” or so from wheels/tire.

I just put a 3 inch on mine and kinda thinking I should've went with 285/75 Instead of 265/75. How does yours drive with the 285s? And do you have a side shot of your truck. One day I'll look at my truck and the tires look fine, other days I think I should go 285s

 

Mine rides great. Really happy with the 285s. I get a little rub up front on the body mounts when I hit a good bump or curb with the wheels turned. Very minor and doesn’t always happen doesn’t bother me at all. Off-road hasn’t been an issue either. I wouldn’t have gone any smaller. Didn’t have any great side shots but here’s a few that had (plus a gratuitous shot of my XJ project for my son)

 

What 3” lift did you use? Did you have to change the factory shocks?

 

How much lift did you end up with after it settled?
And how’s the ride with the 888 springs?
