Is anyone aware of state inspection issues if we remove the front sway bar? I have not done this 'mod' yet, but have been toying with the idea. However, I don't want to take it somewhere next January when it's 20 degrees out and fail inspection because there's no sway bar. Last thing I want to do in NOVA in January is work outside on my truck.

    Thanks guys.

I was reading the hampton roads thread the other day and a guy said he failed for no swaybar. But then another guy said he passed fine with no swaybar.

    A thing or two...
I didn't have a problem over in CB when I got mine inspected in July. I think it's going to depend on where you take it. Look over the inspection laws and see if there's anything specific about it.

    Technically yes.

" Any modification has been made to any part of the steering or suspension system
that affects proper steering or suspension or any part of the original suspension
    system has been disconnected. "
But Most places would not even notice I imagine. My wife's Jeep had the sway bar removed for years.

Mine always passes but I'm not in the city. Worst case you have to take it to a few shops.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
I suspect there is a reason none of us have ever seen one in VA.

In Virginia Beach (several years ago, when I lived down there) there was a gynecologist in what had previously been a bank building... Of course the bank had a drive-thru,, and it was still there.

I tried to get my wife to pull up to the drive thru and say... "Can you take a look at this? Oh, and make it snappy."

I'm not sure why she hit me... I was pretty amused...

With my luck the bottle would shatter and I would get a shard of glass in my eye, the noise would startle the driver causing him to cross the center line striking a busload of nuns escorting war orphans to a kitten adoption event raising money for the homeless resulting in a Michael Bayesque explosion that implodes the free medical clinic on the other side of the street.

Anyone know why Michelin tires are all out of stock? I even tried to order direct from Michelin and they said it'd be a 10-12 week wait for production.
