We don't have as much snow as you do here, some of it melted already :annoyed:, but in my recent drive on 403 through Hamilton one of those splash guards flew from under the car making all of us to slam on brakes and avoid being hit by this flying UFO object in the air.

I know I know. couldn't swing tires this year. Need an air conditioner for the summer. The tires had a season left in them, and will be replaced for next season. Until then, we are letting er eat.

It’s good. Lots of different obstacles for different people at different stages.

I'll be doing a bunch of smaller trips so should be plenty of opportunity.

Meanwhile guys in Australia are coverting land cruisers to auto lol.

It's like when people complain super cars aren't offered in manual. End of the day the performance and what not is better in the auto.

Eugene says he prefers the challenge which ok some do . But that doesn't make it better if anything makes it worse . Good things don't make shit harder they make it easier.
Like with super Cars the quest for them is speed and faster lap times will always be set when gear changes take milliseconds. No human can shift as fast as those dual clutch gear boxes.

Trophy trucks, race cars, rally cars they all run dual clutch sequential

Manual shifting is old tech anyway. It's like saying I like to paddle by hand instead of using a motor because I like the challenge.

    :rofl:Precisely

Jesus, you will never shutup about manuals, don’t you?

I am not racing here to have that “perfomance”. It's more engaging, it keeps me interested, I actually enjoy every drive I do and not consider it a “commute” like most people do.

My maintance is easier and cheaper, I don’t need to replace filter, flush transmission with the specific tools/temperatures or worry about overheating as much.

I also enjoy to own a rare (kinda) things, there are maybe 5 trucks in the entire southern Ontario with the configuration I have.

And for the record, this asshole @Joe23 will be buying manual corolla for his daily commute. :brianr:

    in a way yes.

But I find paddling way more relaxing than motor boats. but thats cause I like the calm water and rivers. where a boat wouldn't be as good

but thats preference. Just like I wont lie I do prefer manual especially for daily driving.
But this idea that manual is 'better' per say off road is not accurate. Its more fun to some maybe. But in no way is it a better performance.

Sure it has easier and cheaper maintenance but in the eyes of performance its not as good.
