It's less Tacoma and more mod
I've always found those padded cases to be lacking in interior space, but it you have the extra room for the bulk they cannot be beat. But I would never bother with one for things that don't absolutely need it.

I do have the world's most bulky cooler though...

Pelicans are so nice though, heavy as fck but sooooo nice.

They use to be super cheap compared to yeti and shit too, not sooo much now though.

I like mine because I could throw everything I needed in there and not worry about it being damaged. I had the pluck foam so I could custom form it to fit my accessories. I also bought the accessory pockets for the lid to fit all my hardware, batteries, and other small items.

I heard this tip from another photographer. If you’re checking in expensive equipment, get a cheap marine flare gun and declare it as a firearm to the TSA. They will inspect it in front of you, and you get to lock it with your own padlocks.

If I was packing around condenser microphones and theatre lamps I would have pelican cases, a camera doesn't need one unless you plan to throw it in the back with the dogs. All of our cameras are covered in dirt, dust, grime, rain stains, in montes case mud, and they work fine, they're tough

They’re worth the money. They are solid cases. I’m happy I made the investment on mine.

SLR means single lens reflex, your camera has zero lens reflex

That’s mainly why I went for a Pelican. I carried two HDMI video monitors, a microphone, lighting, and a bunch of other crap when I would do video.

They're better than that because they have the APS-C sensor from a DSLR

that's your opinion though which don't count.

I was given the land cause my parents moved and I took over cause the land has been in the family for decades. And my brother has house and it wasn't going to my sister cause she would of sold it. Good deer hunting ground 70 acres of woods. Only downside is her new scum bag bf is trying to get me to allow him to hunt. Which ain't happening.
    o
don't associate me with those people.

we get called to dispose the ingredients for it.

dude our paved roads are bad enough where you need upgraded suspension and tires.

I took this broadcasting class in high school. We had a fully functioning television studio and I’d work in the booth sometimes.

We’d call out to each other to confirm certain things like audio, video, solving issues, etc.

One day a media company came in to make a commercial for the school. At the end the director said something like “They were using all the technical lingo!”

It never occurred to me that what we were saying made no sense to anyone outside of broadcasting. It just became second nature to us. Haha.
