Just picked up my 19 Pro, is this the clear bra paint protection?

I noticed what appears to be a clear bra/ paint protector on the front bumper. Can anyone confirm whether or not this is the case. It was not listed on the sticker as an installed option.

Purchased in AZ if that matters.

Doesn't look like it. What does your Monroney sticker says? It should be listed in additional equipment section.

I saw clear bra in the title and when I clicked on the thread, was hoping for different pictures.

Yep looks just like what was installed on my wife's new Rav4. My Tacoma didn't get it.

Unfortunately she already got a rock chip on the edge of the hood on the paint since it didn't get applied all the way down. There are gaps that are visible in areas where the fender meets the bumper

It's definitely not listed on any of the paperwork but I can definitely see that there is an additional layer of some kind on the front bumper.

That looks like flashing on the bumper from the molds. Mine has it real bad where there are sharp edges along many of the bumper lines. If you look close, you should be able to see where the paint is super thin and you can see black.

I got the 3M film on my hood and sides of the fenders...the front bumper cover appears to have some spray on protectorant...second photo shows a slight change in the color where fender and bumper cover meet you can see the clear protectorant sitting on top of the paint. It was on the window sticker when I bought it new...truck has 30k and no rock chips

I just saw a white off-road in a parking lot and it definitely does not have the coating that is on mine. So almost certain it’s a bra of some kind. I’ve contacted the dealer too but haven’t heard back.

I'm not really sure I'd havta dig it up & look later.

The super white paint is a lil different from the other colors in the application but it is probably a clear bra. Just take it as a freebie!

Unless your dealer is that generous and decided to surprise you with free $800 worth of dealer installed clearbra. If you don't see it on the sticker as an option then it's not there. Also keep in mind that the paint on the bumper is of different texture than the rest of the panels. Same thing goes for the rear bumper.

I have the same thing on my 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport. It covers the front bumper but doesn't extend onto the hood. I thought all Tacomas came with it because it wasn't listed as an added accessory and I didn't pay any extra for it. There was a port-installed option of having clear protection for the hood and side mirrors that I don't have.

This is the gap between the front bumper and hood. You can see the edge of the film on the bumper side.

That black line is not for paint protection. That is a "flashing" line. It is where 2 sides of a mold come together. Toyota does a garbage job of cleaning that line before painting.
