I'm going to cap my bed soon and would like to take some preventative action to keep water from entering once I get the cap. I looked up the part number but on the site it says 5ft bed would this work for the 6ft?

Also could someone please point me to a thread that has pics or post some pictures of what you did to seal the cab?

    I don’t see why they wouldn’t work on a 6ft Bed.

I’ve never installed a cap so I don’t have any good Pro Tips, sorry.

Thanks......Awesome getting all your Trucks taken care of! I was going to do the same thing with @state48overland, However I called Jason and they had the Flat tops in stock and I am going with no hoop, so he was able to send it straight to Powder. Install should be next Friday!

Still have my door sill protectors to install. How was the install and any tips plus how did you get the air bubbles out?

Anyone know what the two torx screws above the factory rail are for? I went to remove them (long story) but they just spin. Doesn’t matter if I try loosening them or tighten. They literally just spin.

If I remember correctly, I connected one of the factory toneau cover mounts to that spot. Don't recall then spinning.

Thinking of doing the same. What sheen vinyl do y’all recommend for hood and roof? Satin or semigloss? Maybe satin on the hood and semigloss for the hood?

I’m going to put those same size tires on mine! Can you tell any difference from the stock 70’s?

For the reverse lights I used a set of Auxbeam T15 LEDs:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07415TZJ8?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_pd_title

& for the license plate lights, I used a set of cheap LEDs from Amazon. Also came with all the interior lights. LED quality is okay. I'm just waiting for the MesoCustom dome and map lights to restock so I can install those instead in the interior:

You will never want any other lights once you get the meso dome and maps. Just use plenty of SPF50 for the first week.

Ride is very slightly more harsh. Only driven about 100 miles but it looks to be about a 1.5-2 mpg hit. That was expected and I have no complaints at all.

Are these made just keep shit from falling between the seats? Because that's awesome.

3M Matte 1080-M22 Matte Deep Black. I wanted it to match the B-Pillars

Found this on another thread. Looks like it’s for the center support for the tonneau cover.
