TRS sells Morimoto exclusively as far as I can tell.

As far as having the same address, I asked TRS in a help desk request and got no reply to the question as to why they have the same address and why the Paypal invoice was from them. I am sure they are going through some type of transition but are not letting anyone know.

Dang. Now I wish I had bought spares from XD when I got my kit back in November.

I did find rebased Philips bulbs and they have a better selection at 4300k, 4800k and 6000k on https://www.hidconcept.com/ now I just need to be sure they’re using the same connector.

Thanks guys for looking into this. To clarify for future buyers , Phillips appear no longer available on Xenon Depot. Buyer beware.

I was referring to the connection used between the ballast and the H11 rebased bulb.

These are pricey. The bulb alone are the price of the full kit. Worth it?

Yeah they’re not cheap even with the 20% off... you do get what you pay for tho. I’m still researching to see if there’s a more viable option. I do believe that XD sold extras for $120/pair, so I don’t feel it’s out of line.

If you’re looking for a entire kit I would at least look at the HIDconcept.com as they have some nice Philips options, great reviews and prices are comparable to XD. They’re also running a 20% promo currently.

Thank you sir, I'll order from them. I have a 2019, latest they go up to is 2017 when you do bulb and kit searches... I'm assuming it's all the same?

So I think what I am going to end up with is a set of Philips from the other company and a spare set of 4000k as a backup set. If I can ever get ahold of them I will swap for some 5000k’s as a backup set.

Dang. I've been seeing a lot of good feedback on this kit, so I went for it. I'm impulsive and missed the last few posts. Maybe they are still transitioning or moving inventory to TRS.
I ordered from this link: https://www.xenondepot.com/2019-tacoma-h11-hid-kit-p/3563-0000-h11-hid-kit.htm
When looking at the picture, I was lead to believe they would all be Philips bulbs. But then I forgot and realized Philips doesn't offer that full range. Sigh... Maybe XD was stocked up, so they'll just be shipping what's left. We can hope.

Also, thoughts on using a mount like this for the slim ballast?
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/HID-Xenon-35W-AC-Digital-Slim-Conversion-Kit-1-Pair-Ballast-Mounting-Brackets/110901619638?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

Would it help with a cleaner install somewhere?

Wow, this sucks if true. I’ve done some comparison of the XD 4300k HIDs which were spec’d the same as the XD Philips bulbs, but the Philips ones were far better.

Going with the Retrofit Source Morimoto Elite 35w kit. These guys were quick in emails and informative what I should get and what I shouldn't get. Pretty much the same what Crash has been preaching. BTW, appreciate your posts Crash.
