It took tooo long, and I had the quote in process, so I would have f'd it up. If I make the trip, and you do, I will just put a 12 pack of whatever in the cab of whoever is in front and behind me. I don't plan to f' up, and if not for trying to avoid damage to my unprotected undersides, I would have NEVER HAVE that cool pic of my rescue. So, win, win......

 

He did my alarm to that I never use one of the guys that work there was supposed to do my tint i.just haven't gone back for it

 

My kit - no. My fail - yes! I used it as my signature for a month, before I put lights in. It is currently my FB profile, and got more likes than any real photo of me!

OK, I will be honest. If I need all that, I did NOT have a fun trip, and the special person in my life would never let me spend another cent on LBR.
1. Go where I know I am confident and equipped.
2. Do not equip for end of days - that wasn't a fun trip.
3. Try to get to the most beautiful places I can get to, without destroying what got you there.
4. I have friends that try to do #3, go learn to help them do that without the second part. I know I can.
5. We don't camp - I'm honest about that. But I want to see all those places, then take the wife to a hotel.

Everything I want is recovery gear none of it is for camping I don't need a mini reg and gas cooker

 

I like to NOT get to the recovery get NEED mode. Don't mind carrying some sensible items. Want to know where I am going, don't travel alone if it is borderline, make sure wife stays in hotels and eats in cool places. Simple.

 

And just to prove it's NOT just me @LostHusker , @hoverlover has gone silent, and will wait for me to post "off"! HA!

Just so you all know, someone on TW main thread said "those Jeep people" just quit posting, and you never know they are gone...…

SO, seemed to me, not wanting to be a Jeep People, I would just make a sign off, with something I remember from being a happy kid.

If I had known I would be in this group in fall of 2017, I might have gotten a 4X4. But both of us would have asked "why". We've never used one except for an aborted PINS trip. I got LBR to be a PickUp for the home, because I loved my previous ones a lot more than my F-150s - though all good.
So, I learn what it can do, what I can do, and how to make it better when possible.
