if i didn't already have an evo, i would think about it. looks very similar to the evo, and if so, it will kick some major ass, but 4g trumps

when you have a big screen, the touch screen isn't bad to work on.

I can use the onscreen keyboard with my current Droid, but I like having the touch of the buttons and also not having to block half of my screen with a keyboard. I guess some day I'll cross over to the dark side but for now I'll stay old school. At least I'm not having to hit a number key 3 times to get one letter to come out! Long live the Razr

i played with the droid once. the screen was way to small for the keyboard. these new superphones are big enought that the keyboard isn't an issue.

The original Droid is still huge and seems balanced with the keyboard. Of course it's not the biggest screen anymore but it still works great for an almost year old phone.

i got the droid x today. it is pretty sweet. i am not going to type up a review or anything (i am no expert on that stuff) but if you are due to upgrade your phone anytime soon, you should go check one out and decide for yourself. it's big but not too big. it will fit nicely in your front pocket. the screen looks amazing. the phone is fast when on 3g but even faster on wifi. i am not going to hype this thing up but its nice.

I am in the same boat as you.... Got off this morning at 6, and went up to Verizon... Been with AT&T for awhile, so Ive had the iPhone and such for a bit. This one is definitely different... Its cool though, the screen is awesome, can actually see Tacomaworld from my phone now!! Thats always a plus! Anyways, first Android phone, so Im gonna give the learning curve a shot, see where that takes me!

I also got the "X" on Fri. Damn this thing is a lot more than I expected. I can't disclose how much ($0 - :anonymous:) we paid and what we're paying a month, but we got two of them. His & hers. The screen is EXCELLENT! I'll post a pic if I can of the phones screen with something on it. Haha.
