    It’s a little tall but I like it. It’s not a racecar.

    SOS offroad Concepts, high clearance with swingout. I added the receiver hitch for the bike rack to the swingout.

    Can you elaborate on the receiver hitch? That was something you did post purchased or that was an add on SOS was able to do during fab?

    Did you find a tube with a threaded m8 or did you weld it? Pretty much just tell me how you made this so I can make it and have one for my self.

    I planned on welding a plug into an old handlebar but ended up havinga piece of the correct diameter solid aluminum rod to fit the lock-on grip. I ended up just drilling a 7/16 pilot for the 1/2x20 tap. (The 3rd gen MT thread pitch is 1/2”x20, I even triple checked with a thread gauge). For the shifter boot, I pulled the trim off for the center console, cut the zip tie on the boot collar and inverted it back over the shifter, then re-zip tied it without the boot collar that attaches to the factory knob. It could all be put back to factory in 10 mins.

    It was something I did, but I’m sure @EddyRRT could add you one during fabrication. I just used a 2” piece of square tubing, notched one side for the swingout’s tubing up top and welded a 2” receiver tube to that as low as possible without interfering with the table or back-up cam. Easy peasy, here are some crappy pics that mighg help you visualize ... best I have on my phone.

    Sometimes it's the journey not the destination.... I live in North Texas and wished I had the BLM areas to venture out into the wilds with a bottle of Revel Stoke and a six pack of some fine IPA and just chill in the awesomeness of the backcountry!

    Yep, have it on all my bikes. Top tube, down tube, chain stays, seat stays, back of seat tube. Looks good and protects the paint.

    Damn, that trail looks sweet!

    Nope, I do not need a GG bike, despite how hard I have looked at them. No, No, No.

    :lalala::lalala::lalala::lalala::lalala::lalala::lalala::lalala::lalala::lalala::lalala::lalala::lalala:

    I used an M8 coupling nut tack weldedinto a piece of correct OD pipe when I made mine.

    Come wander over to UT. We can go get lost in the wilderness for a few days. Or I can meet you in Grand Junction, Moab, or Durango.

    It’s the Hightower and yes, it’s the all mountain frame protector. It’s a great addition and adds protection. Granted my bike looks like it’s got tattoos all over it but hey, it’s my ride.

    Awesome. Was just about to say I have a GG on order, and then noticed your user name and realized who it was. I'm Matt with the Medium Blue Smash headed to California. So stoked to get it.

    Yessirr, that sounds like a damn good time! You've got it all right there man...
    We (myself, wife and kids) have been vacationing to Colorado, Durango in particular, for years. We have made an occasional day trip out to Moab while there. Only been on a couple of the trails and out to Arches, so there's much more to explore there. The St. George area has been on my radar for years as we've never been there. I want to ride the famous Goosberry Mesa trails etc.
    Now that the kids are out of public schools, our plan is to get out and see and ride stuff that's been on the back burner. That's a big reason why I bought my 4x4 OR Taco in Sept. Can't wait to get after it!!
