    Anyone happen to know if the synthetic elastomer bushings from JBA will work in a stock UCA?

    I've decided to stick with stock UCA's as I am sticking with stock ride height, but I want to at least pretty up a set I snagged and add bushings and a ball joint with a zerk and all that.

    Marlin makes a stock height replacement uca. IMO I don’t think the effort of rebuilding the uca is worth it. I don’t know if it’s even possible.

    I don’t see anything on their site under suspension. Also UCAs are simple rebuilds. I have a press, you knock out the bushings and then there’s a specialist tool for pushing the ball joints out.

    Hell I can drill them for zerks and get them powder coated too, doll them up for cheap.

    Are these UCAs worth it?? Can't decide between these and SPCs.

    Seems like JBAs could rust and not give enough alignment adjustment as SPCs.
    However, been hearing that some alignment shops either can't figure out how to align using SPCs or charge more?!

    How soon is soon? I'm definitely interested . Just drove from nyc-> San Diego with my ome lift and stock uca's... With my caster only at like 1.7. felt like a cruise ship for the whole 57 hours:(

    SPC gives more adjustment points for more specific adjustments. Most people don't seem to need that though.

    And I’ve seen it twice on two different trucks where they’ll knock the upper BJ out of position while wheeling, and nothing even that crazy. I will never recommend SPC. Not because it’s necessarily a bad product but because the jba is superior IMO

    Fair enough. The ball joint moving is a installer problem, I torqued mine and many others to spec and they haven't moved even with rough wheeling.
