Sorry that I didn't take pics, but others had documented the process pretty well already.

I was getting squealing for a minute or two when starting in the morning. Nothing my neighbors would have been bothered by, but it was enough to annoy me into snagging one of those "Gator" belts by Goodyear. Bought from RockAuto.com, as they're a vendor here. Shipped fast, and got the right part the first time.

By far the biggest PITA was trying to get a screwdriver in the tensioner pulley apparatus to hold the pulley out of the way. Captain Tubby Arms here couldn't get both hams up in there simultaneously, so I resorted to threading the bastard over every pulley but the tensioner, then had my six-month pregnant wife come out and slip 'er over the tensioner while I was underneath with the wrench.

We're now good to go, and have silent starts once again.

Haha, good job bro. I replaced mine a couple months back too because it would squeal on humid days..

is it normal for a new belt to squeal a little bit? Cause when I put my supercharger on the first 500 miles it would squeak when it was cold.

took me like 10 maybe 15 minutes to swap mines out...:D

I always carry a spare 1 on road trips that way if it ever fails on me...I can swap it out and continue the road trip without having to wait 3+ hours for a tow truck...

I did mine last winter because of the annoying start-up squeal (just about 42,000 on the truck now). It was fine for about six months, but the squeal is back in the morning. Starting to think it's just weather dependent and nothing to worry about...

I had about 35k or so. Mine had gotten a bit worn because it was the original belt the factory put on back in 2005. Years will do the damage even if mileage doesn't :)
