I burned up a starter of a HMMVW in Alaska. Mechanics just "serviced" it and it was about -10 degrees out. Wouldn't start so the mechanic said to just keep cranking it, I just said ooooooook and inside the cab started smoking. Pulled the engine cover and flames filled the cab.

Extreme lack of cup holders and storage space in the GX470. The 2nd gen Tacoma was crazy with how many cup holders it had. How am I supposed to live the American lifestyle without cup holders!?

    You loco esé!

There's 4 in the front center console and 2 more in the center fold out of the rear seat.

Get a 3d printed replacement for the garbage 1" deep front cup holders. GXOR has the file for it or placed to buy it. One of my guys has a 3d printer at home and it took like 28 hours to print. Works bitching though!

    Meh.

Big ass big gulp sized cups fit tight in those holders. There is a guy on GXOR thats working on an AL insert. I am keeping eye on that one.

All other beverages chill in the fridge in back of mine. :D

Its cause Tacoma owners pack shit with them. GX owners get their lattes fresh through the Starbucks drive through. ;)

My '67 Scout had no cup holders. Quite primitive by today's standards.
I took two of the small size cans of Bush's beans, ate the beans, screwed the cans, side by side, right to the transmission hump behind the shifter. Cut a circle of foam out of an old camping mat for some cushion on the bottom, and for some insulation for the heat coming off the thing.
A 12oz canned beverage of your choice with an old school foam koozie fit right in there.
