You’re exactly right. I thought I would be happy with what I have but since we went I’ve wanted to be able to do more and not get pulled everywhere.

The transmission is a little bigger too.

Not really it's actually shorter. You have a long tailshaft we got a short one for the t-case to bolt to. Everything else is the same. You didn't get pulled that much. Heck that muddy field I thought Jerry was going to get stuck we were dragging his skids the whole way across. Also I got pulled everywhere too so you actually drove more than I :anonymous:

For all the time and money spent going back to stock, selling your truck, trying to sell the locker, the aggravation of it all..just convert it to 4x4. Good lawd.

    This is very true.

I’m hoping to find one already modded so I can just sell mine. And luckily if I did have to swap it’s only really suspension so that wouldn’t be too bad.

Does this look like a problem? I don't chance brakes often enough to know if these cracks in the fins are an actual problem or not

Possibly not, however, it isn't a good thing. I would take them back and get them replaced, personally. You clearly just bought new rotors, they ought to be right. This isn't right.

Just did the same job myself. I didn't have any cracks in mine.

EDIT: looking at the pic again, it is interesting how the cracks are uniform in each individual fin, as if it was made that way. So, -shrug- I don't know. Perhaps it's not a crack but an artifact of the machining process? (and now I will have to check mine out this weekend when I replace my front brake bleeders with Speed Bleeders....)

Well I haven't wheeled much since moving here a year ago. But the only places I've gone to are Gulches and GTR Complex. Those places are good for day trips with easy to moderate difficulty. But I would like to do some trails in the smoky mountains.

Yeah I just put the old brakes back on and submitted a return request with rock auto. I don't feel like taking a chance with my brakes. The other rotor looked fine.

Ikr? I don't know what the break down was but the battery was $99.
So $45 for the oil change and tire rotation....and he found me a coupon for the $20 off. I'll see what the invoice says. I thought he said $12 to rotate the tires, so the rest was the oil change.
And apparently they don't charge to remove the skid plate like the quick lube places do.

Sounds like I'm headed to Easley soon. I need a new battery anyway. CCA's are starting to get a little low.
