Pretty sure its valve seals. Everything i read says that its common on that engine

 

Ours has a heater, but we only used it a couple of times. it was basically like, well, a heater in a tent: it barely warmed anything since the tent fabric doesn't insulate at all. It was enough to keep you from freezing, but we still used thick blankets, sleeping bags, thermals, all that stuff.

Last spring we bought a hard sided travel trailer. A winny 17BH (bunks for the kids). It is SOOOOO much warmer! We can even do winter camping now! Only problem is that it doesn't vent as nicely as the popup so they get warm easy.

 

A heater actually popped up a couple months ago but I didn’t feel comfortable tackling that haha, propane isnt good

 

Ill just goto 5 DMV get 5 moving permits then get its monitors ready

 

I have a moving permit. Now the important part is the insurance. They’ll only give you one if you put payment towards the reg.

How long has that been sitting? You probably owe a ton in backtaxes.

 

I use the big buddy tent camping with a 20lb tank. Will run you out a tent fast..

 

Mine gets super hot with the buddy heater. Couple of nights with snow and shit and it wasn’t bad at all, shorts and a heavy isn’t blanket and you were set.

Awhile. But its on non op and up to date on everything. Just needs to pass smog

 

I jacked up my tires and adjusted the rear brakes with a flat head screwdriver on the little gear thingy. I tried what @Jamesboy2233 said on my 4runner way back when and I ended up locking up my rear brakes up in the mountains and had to take the rear drums off and get rid of the shoes and then pinch my rear brake lines till I could get back home and fix it.

 

I little hidden secret about the heaters, though. at least the one we had...

They don't have much in the way of temperature control. They click on, run, then shut off. Not that different from most heaters I guess, but in a popup, the thing does that like every 10 minutes or so ALL NIGHT LONG. And you heat this click click click as the pilot light starts up, then the fan kicks on... It wasn't exactly a restful night, but I guess at least we didn't freeze, lol

 

Yea but if it leaks unnoticed it’ll kill you
