We will have a prototype in about 3 weeks. We'll test it, make any necessary tweaks, and then order a huge batch of them.

When I made the first version of these, I was driving a 4Runner, so I needed a tester. Now I'm back in a Tacoma, so no testers needed.

The crossbars are incredibly strong. I stood right in the middle of one (210 lbs). It deflected only very slightly.

The crossbar and the upright "interlock" with each other, totally eliminating any lateral motion, meaning whatever you put on them won't sway from side to side.

We use two T-nuts per upright, so there is no rocking fore and aft.

To lift your cover, simply unscrew the knobs on the crossbar, and lift the bar out of the way.

    Pic's!!!!

There is 4.5” of clearance under the crossbar.

    Installed mine today.
Question for you tent guys. Do you use the bolts that come with the tent and go around the whole bar or do you swap to a bolt that will go through the middle slats?

    Looks awesome!
I’m gonna get me a set. I like how these hold the RTT lower than some others.

My TJM tent is setting almost perfect with the cab height. I'll snap a picture tomorrow after I finish bolting it down.
