What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Do it! It was a pain to figure out, but I think it's a sweet mod that not too many people around here have.

 

Replacing the CVs and adding a diff drop to my 2002 4runner and noticed this...bought the truck with a 3” spacer lift and wheel spacers on stock rims, it looks like the spacers are barely threaded to the stock wheel studs. Should I be alarmed?! I’ve been driving it like this for three years, haven’t had an issue. Might go pick up some level 8 mk6s next week with correct backspacing!

 

Why would I need a light bar? This is my grocery getter and mall cruiser.

I’d look into how many threads are actually in the lug nuts. You can see how many it doesn’t have. I wouldn’t drive it knowing what you now know.

I haven’t seen a aftermarket one for MT. Any info on it to help find it?

Looks really good. So, they changed the Sport hood between the 2017 and 2018 models?

The 2017 has an extra bend or two near the windshield that really adds to the glare, and I haven't been able to think of way to cover it in vinyl that would look halfway decent.

I'd take a pic but it's covered in snow and ice right now. Looking at the weather forecast, I may see it again come April or May.
