Whoa, those are the wheels I need! I was just thinking about how I'm gonna make mine work with the casters I already have, but being able to lift and lower would be much easier.

Not following? I mean I wanted to have a table saw height work bench, but I already have some cheap 400lb casters, but with the design you still get some movement on lock (they swivel). With those you can lift the wheel and boom it's sitting frame on floor. I mean, I could make do with what I got, but that's really tempting. Though for $75 I could buy a CB instead...

That's perfect, I like the simplicity of the design, I'll be stealing some ideas. Thanks!

My wife wanted a this house a few miles from our house, it was all positives except the kitchen compared to our kitchen. We bought the house and agreed we would make it the way we wanted right away. I did the demo, backsplash, under cabinet lighting and moved the island myself. Countertops were installed by pros.
We are much happier with our kitchen now.
    Next comes the back yard.

Good job. I like the cabinets. Yeah I would let the pros handle the countertop:eek::D
The cabinet handles are the same ones that are in my camper. They will work as bottle openers:drunk:

From what I can see you have to wire an external t-stat to them, at least the K series. Is there a different one you're thinking of..those also seem to need hardwiring..

Laid the backerboard down the other day. About a 1000 screws later and my back and knees were toast. Going to try and start tile tomorrow and most likely finish up next weekend when I'm off for 4 days.

Funny story. I had called about 10 references for getting granite counters installed. None of them return my calls. So I went to craigslist and the first person that responded to one of their ads Showed up the next day to take measurements. After telling him the color and style I was going for it turned out he had an entire quartz slab in his shop that a previous customer Purchased and did not like. He cut me a deal I could not refuse.

I had him show up today to do the install and it went excellent. He was very careful and had a good attention to detail.

While he was installing the counters I managed to get my fridge nook framed out and Sheetrock up.

Got started on my workbench. I only had about and hour and a half of free time so I'm getting there. Still need to get the table saw installed on the left side, put the bottom on, some shelves, wood to support the miter saw base when I need to flip it, and a couple angle braces. Also I wanna make a dust collection unit, a home made bucket cyclone type thing that'll go under the saw.
