    Morning all!

Another vote for the ST Maxx! I love mine in the 255 variety, and they performed superbly when I went to flagpole.

    This!

The rim width/bs/offset has a lot to do with how a tire will look on your truck. My 255 ST Maxx on Ray10s actually look fairly wide thanks to the rim width of 8.5".

I think this settles the case for the ST Maxx!

Yeh but I've already got one of those!

That would solve the no heat problem I was having in the Tacoma last weekend!

Mine are on the stock 4runner wheel, forget the bs but I know it's a little different then the taco, they just look so sexy and fill the arch so well w/ the maxx's.

I think the only other tire I would consider now is the Cooper discovered at3

I'm with you on this. I was really in to big american trucks before I got my Tacoma. But I have been convinced. It's a completely different ballgame. Tacomas don't need the wide tires like the big trucks do, and I think the Tacomas look kinda ridiculous with the super wide tires.

    Staaaayyy awwwaaaayyyyyy!

This is coming from a Jeep guy. I'll admit it, I've fallen in love with these Taco's since I made up my mind to buy one, but I'm still a Jeep guy, that's where it all started for me. I've owned 3 CJ's and an FSJ. Still have a CJ.

A few years ago my wife and I went to Puerto Rico, to the Island of Vieques. On that Island you have to rent a Jeep to access the beaches. They have fleets of JK's and JKU's.
We ended up with a JKU, and it is undeniably the cheapest feeling, most plastic, ugly, week as water, not enough ass to get out of its own way, poorly assembled from shittily made parts, pile of shit I have ever driven.
    :crapstorm:

Thank god I'm a Jeep guy huh?

It's all good, man. To each their own I always say. Keep in mind that a 255 will normally require less trimming/cutting to fit than a 285 will. Again, that is all subjective based on the lift, tire, rim, offset, etc.

Speaking of, what tires did you run on your Baja when you had the AAL and Baja spring seat lift on it?

I'm with you on this...I got my start in Jeeps as well. I've had 4 CJs, 2 TJs, an XJ, and 2 WJs over the years. I do miss one of the CJs I had when I was in California, but other than that...meh. I've heard good things about the latest version that just came out, but now that I have switched to Tacomas I will never go back.

That's why I got rid of my 255. I had no logical reason to switch, but I just wanted a meatier tire
