Gotta metric shitton of rain yesterday, they had to close roads around the office.

 

I’m pretty sure it was a standard shit ton of rain, only Canada gets a metric shit ton of rain, unless they get Imperial gallons of rain. Fuck it I just confused myself. Try and stay dry.

 

About half of those large digital thermometers at banks, etc. around here read in °C and even after almost 20 years it still confuses the hell out of me. I feel your pain.

These temp do suck, but it's been colder. I think of how hard it is for the dogs. Star & Coco are in the house alot. They have been very good, no messes.

 

Thanks, and yes she is better.up movin around bout normal.must have been a 24 hr thing. I did go up and get her motion sickness pills last evening and she said they helped alot Have a good one.stay warm.

 

I had a sump pump at our other house. always worried me for power outage or breakage.I actually bought 2 and kept one for a spare.

Morning all

 

Same here with the sump pump workout. Changed out the floats on the fly yesterday. New floats have an adjustable off delay to drain down the pit a bit further reducing cycling.

 

Glad the day from hell yesterday is over. Pipes froze in two of our dorms, thinking 18 rooms affected. This is why you do not tear down brick and mortar buildings and build stick buildings. State engineers....

 

BTW....Hunting season over, so the deer are coming out during the day again. Short cutting through the park near home yesterday, saw a 12 pointer. (They haven't shed racks here yet) He was a proud one. Walked out to the edge of the road and stared at me. As soon as I reached for my camera, he took off. 6 does ran out of the woods behind him and followed him into another patch of woods. Deer version of a rock star.....

My plan today: mosey down to Target to get Swiffers for dusting and then to Lowes to see if anything BBQ is on sale. I have some pork belly in the fridge, curing. In about 10 days it will magically turn into bacon, Yum!

Now there is a domestic HW circulation valve leaking. Man. Yellow labels take me away....

 

Leaking leaking or bypass leaking?

 

Four recirct valves located at different locations through my dorms. Valve is leaking 2nd floor above an access panel on drywall ceiling in kids room.
