Buddy is picking it up today and I'll grab it from his house saturday! Then I'll have to find some metal to glue together. Luckily I have a lot of scrap

not this weekend, but maybe next if that works... I havent trimmed and plastic or anything since putting the lift / wheels / tires on.... and the only time I get a slight plastic rub is reverse backing up when the wheel is pointed towards the passenger side

so hopefully starting with a clean slate will be easiest.... CMC... and then I'll get out the heat gun and try to remold some of the plastic and avoid cutting any plastic at all.

Next saturday we're likely gonna do a mod day at @BFRT_King Ranch house in haymarket, so I could do it then once I'm done with his lift. CMC only takes like an hour and a half or so!

I love me some old fashioned guns. Once hunting season is over I shoot clays 2-3 Saturdays a month so this thing will definitely get a work out. 200-300 shells a month for 6-7 months a year adds up!

@BFRT_King Ranch can I come BS? I am not much help with a wrench, but you're only 20 min away.

I was actually just bought a shotgun this week.... was debating between the TriStar Viper G2 Silver and the TriStar Setter Over/Under since I have a pheasant hunt coming up next month

ultimately decided on the Viper G2 semi auto because I heard of some reliability with the firing pins in their over/under

Nice! Are you going to Twin Ridge? There's also birds at Sleepy Creek. I've never wheeled there but I have hunted there.

I think you made the right choice. Those less expensive over/unders are hit or miss. The craftsmanship and quality control just isn't there like it is in the higher end guns. It's a shame, too, because I feel as if the companies do it on purpose to encourage folks to buy more expensive guns.

I'm really hoping so! But from all the reviews, the Viper G2 seems like the best semi auto you can buy for under $900

I'm actually going to Rose Hill in Culpepper... but good to know about Sleepy Creek... we should do a hunt there! I have the opposite experience... I've wheeled there, but never hunted.

I was just at Rose Hill in December. I try to go at least once a year. Even though it's a "canned" hunt, it's really the best we've got in VA. I have some good private land for doves, but pheasants are nowhere to be found, and grouse are really hard to hunt in the GWNF in my experience. I'll shoot you a PM about Sleepy Creek.
