A build thread did cross my mind, but yeah it’s too late now

 

Nice! Never too late to start man just kick one off and post what you got so far!

 

Take that thing off! It’s night and day off road, and on road it honestly isn’t bad. As long as you don’t drive it like a sports car lol

 

I’ve heard it voids your warranty if removed. That’s been my only worry honestly

 

If you break something, just put the sway bar back on before you go into the dealer lol

 

Hmm never thought about that. The only things I could see that voiding are struts, tie rods, and CVs which are already voided from big tires

 

Hmmm I didn’t know that. Of course I’m sitting here with a chopped, lifted truck with bumpers, plates, and aftermarket suspension parts worrying about a voided warranty

I’ve had mine off since 8K miles and now have 73K never looked back, so much better without it!

 

Mine came off at 500 miles.

 

The dude at Toyota told me pull it bc since I already put oversized tires and a lift kit on it the warranty Toyota won’t do anything with it since it’s not stock regardless. So guess I’ll pull it

 

Moved my hi lift mount to the driver side of the bed and installed a WILCO Spare Tire mount for my spare 285/75/16. That way I still have the majority of my bed space but have the clearance underneath my bed for off-road.

 

Been a while since I added anything to the build thread. Really the only thing I’ve done lately is do a diff breather mod. I purchased the kit from Yota Shop and used a small bracket from Lowe’s the get a nice clean set up. Very happy with the install. (Ignore the dirt, she’s rarely ever clean lol)


I also replaced the factory splash guards with nice quality rubber ones from RAD Rubber. Won them at Atlanta Takeover this year.



Currently I have a Headstrong Progressive AAL, Timbren U-bolt flip kit, and Energy Suspension Bushings sitting in my garage awaiting install. Going to upgrade the rear from a block lift to a better riding lift. Pics to come once I install.

Well tomorrow is rear lift overhaul. Replacing the rear Toytec blocks with @HeadStrong Off-Road Progressive AAL’s, installing the @Timbren-Industries U-Bolt Flip Kit, and installing Energy Suspension Poly Bushings on my stock leaf springs

Also nabbed these Camburg Uniball UCA’s for $150 off of Craigslist! They need cleaned up (most of the brown in the pic is dirt and grime) they do have some surface rust here and there and probably need new uniballs and bushings but I can get those for $160. Gonna strip and paint, and replace those two components and these babies will get slapped on the truck. Not a bad find for a product that will last a lifetime and normally runs $700+ dollars.

 

Got the Timbren U bolt flip kit on and got the ALL on. Looking a lot cleaner with added clearance and about 2 inches over lift in the rear. Just gotta cut the bolts down shorter and shell be good to go.

 

Got some custom center caps in to dress up the AR23’s
